Things to do

THINGS TO DO

          Activities

Manoir de Longeveau has many activities on site, including golf, tennis, pétanque (a classic French game, similar to bocci ball), several swimming pools (including one for kids), volleyball, and a children's playground for all kids and Megan. There are also indoor activities which can be played in the sports barn (such as basketball or tennis) or in the activity room/bar area (such as table tennis and billards).

The area is nice for small hikes and promenades through the french countryside, gardens, and villages. There are also bike trails, ranging from leisurely to trail riding. It is also possible to canoe/kayak, fish, or swim (for the brave!) in the Drone.

          Visits

The charming Roman village of Aubeterre is nearby, with a magnificent view and the subterranean church "Eglise Saint Jean." Other towns such as Bordeaux, Périgueux, Cognac, Bergerac and Saint Emilion are nearby which features French history, architecture and drinks. Lascaux cave and its Paleolithic paintings is reachable too.

Having you be our guest is the best present(s) you can give! Really, we mean it... for those who have travelled very far just to be with us, that already means more to us than anything you can buy.

But for those who stubbornly insist, we have several options for you:

  • You! At our wedding! Still our favorite gift!

  • The traditional Thai route: it is customary in Thai weddings to give money

  • The traditional American or French route: we have provided a wedding registry available at gifster.com (member search for NisTiti). Some options are contributions towards items which will be decided when we find our new home (our next big step together!) For these gifts, you can send items to Nisita Wanakule and Thierry Kauffmann, 61 rue de L'Ourcq, Bat A21, 75019 Paris FRANCE. You can specify a phone number (06.10.87.07.72), and also a little note so that we know it is from you!
